Established in 2023, the CUNY PIT Lab is a collaborative, cross-campus, cross-sector initiative, based at the City University of New York focused on advancing technology for the public good. It brings together students, faculty, and community partners to design, critique, and apply technology in ways that center equity, justice, and real-world impact.
The Lab’s core mission is to make technology accessible, participatory, and responsive to community needs.
